Mark Soltys Bio

Mallie has a yen for design, tempered with an understanding of organization and a tried and tested desire to follow the K.I.S.S. principle. Her love of research and almost uncanny Google search abilities ensure she's up to date on the trending topics that will create the most engagement when posting updates on Facebook, Twitter and/or Linkedin.

A California native, transplanted to Georgia in the early 1990's, Mallie's career spanned waste management, a Series 7 commodities license, the creation and maintenance of her own design and social media firm and a brief stint as a local television personality. It was during her years at 13WMAZ Eyewitness news, a CBS affiliate, that Mallie gained a real respect and passion for social media and the variety of marketing opportunities and equalizers that it offers to companies, no matter their size.

Mallie's long career in graphic design gives her an understanding of both form and function, which she aptly applies to social media maintenance and managment. For a social media campaign to be effective, it must promote brand and elicit engagement. Which requires a strong mix of design and careful management and maintenance.

Mallie works closely with Soltys, Inc. as a social media and digital business consultant, and enjoys the time she spends working on the Soltys, Inc. web site, blog and social media platforms. When she's not working closely with Pat Soltys, she and her husband and business partner, Derek Hart, run Go Creative Go!, a full service marketing and design firm.

A firm believer in word of mouth marketing and the power of referral marketing and networking, Mallie takes an active role in several local business organizations, including Business After Hours at Smoke Rise, the Lilburn Business Association and Decatur's 100 Club.

While Mallie has fully embraced the concept and purpose of digital business, she happily schedules social media tasks on large paper wall calendars and has idea books spread throughout the house to jot down the ideas that always seem to come when she's far away from her computer or iPad.
